developing design tools to improve renewable energy auctions

AURES II is a continuation of a project that aims to develop design tools to improve renewable energy auctions in EU countries. auctions for RES (Renewable Energy Sources) are a market mechanism used to sell assets in cases where the auctioneer has no way of knowing the market price of a particular asset beforehand. such is the case for new renewable energy generation plants being installed in member countries.

after having developed design and adaptation tools for the mechanism, the AURES II consortium monitored the policy effects of these tools and further refined them. these are available in open format on the project portal.

formicablu took care of the communication and dissemination of the project, developed the visual identity, produced the presentation leaflet, and created the website.
